Q: Do prices include VAT?

All prices shown are inclusive of Egyptian VAT at the current standard rate of 14%. International clients outside Egypt may be exempt from Egyptian VAT depending on their jurisdiction; please enquire at the time of order.

Q: What is your refund policy?

If a briefing fails to cover the site scope agreed at the time of order, we will revise it at no charge. Full refunds are available only where work has not yet commenced. Once a document has been delivered, we do not issue refunds but will address any factual inaccuracies through a supplementary amendment at no additional cost.

Q: Can the Scholar plan consultation be split into two shorter sessions?

Yes. The one-hour Scholar consultation can be split into two 30-minute sessions with different specialists — for example, one session with an Egyptologist focused on Upper Egypt sites and a second with our museum specialist focused on Cairo collections. This must be specified at the time of booking.

Receive Confirmation & Invoice

Within one business day, a member of our Cairo team will reply confirming the scope of work, the delivery timeline, and a payment link or bank transfer details. For Scholar plan clients, we will also propose two or three consultation slot options. Work begins upon payment confirmation.

Receive Your Documents

Briefings and itinerary documents are delivered as PDF attachments to your registered email address. Scholar plan consultation sessions take place via video call at the agreed time. A written summary of the consultation is sent within 24 hours of the session completing.

We accept payment by bank transfer to our Cairo-registered account in Egyptian pounds, US dollars, or euros. International clients typically pay via SWIFT transfer; we will provide our full IBAN and SWIFT details with the invoice. Alternatively, for clients who prefer not to use bank transfer, we issue a secure card payment link through our payment processor — no card details are held by our office.

Egyptian-resident clients may pay in cash at our Cairo office at 14 Talaat Harb Street, Floor 3, by prior appointment during office hours (Sunday to Thursday, 09:00–17:00). Government-issue tax receipts are issued for all payments. Our Tax Identification Number with the Egyptian Tax Authority is 634-187-092.

Institutional clients — universities, documentary production companies, and tour operators placing recurring orders — may request monthly invoicing with 30-day payment terms. Contact our office for institutional account setup. A 15% volume discount applies to orders of five or more briefing documents placed in a single order.

Can I request a single site briefing without a plan?

Yes. Individual site briefings are available as standalone documents under the Explorer plan at EGP 1,400 per briefing. There is no minimum commitment. You describe the site and your visit context; we produce the document within 48 working hours.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer (SWIFT/IBAN) in Egyptian pounds, euros, or US dollars. We also accept card payment via our secure payment link sent after order confirmation. Cash payment at our Cairo office is available for Egyptian-resident clients by prior arrangement during office hours (Sunday to Thursday, 09:00–17:00 EET).

How long does it take to receive a briefing after I pay?

Standard delivery is within 48 working hours of payment confirmation and receipt of your site specification. Complex sites with recent excavation activity or restricted-access areas may require 72 hours. Expedited 24-hour delivery is available at an additional 30% surcharge on the relevant plan fee — please request this explicitly when submitting your order.

Can I request a briefing in Arabic?

All written briefings are produced in English as standard. Arabic translation of completed briefing documents is available for an additional fee with a five to seven working day turnaround for translated output. Live consultation sessions under the Scholar plan are conducted in English or Arabic at no additional cost — specify your preferred language at the time of booking.

Do prices include VAT?
